About Siobhan
Siobhan launched Make Hay agency as the next step in her career in the arts. She has over 20 years of experience nurturing hospitable environments for ingenuity, purpose and beauty to prosper.
Her most recent achievement is the development of Mainframe Studios — the largest nonprofit creative workspace in the nation — as a financially sustainable business model with 180 studios, exhibition spaces and event venue. As founding director Siobhan sustained full tenancy and a 100-artist waitlist. Her programming also included multifaceted First Friday events that attracted more than 1,000 visitors each month.
Being raised by ambitious creatives amid cow lots, corn stalks and hay fields has its benefits. Growing up in farmland Iowa, Siobhan learned that making hay while the sun shines takes a strong work ethic, the right tools, good timing and invested collaborators.
With Make Hay, Siobhan continues to expand creative ecosystems in which artists can flourish.
