About Molly
Fine artist and designer, Molly possesses a wealth of creative power and ingenuity. Her portfolio reflects her care for elemental yet sophisticated sculptural style inspired by history and travel.
Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Molly Spain studied at Slade School of Fine Art - University College London and at Iowa State University before receiving her BAFA from University of New Mexico. Molly’s art has been published in DSM Magazine, The Guardian, and The Atlantic’s CityLab. In 2021, she completed 'Critical Mass,' a painting that covers the entire exterior of the 5-story Mainframe Studios building in downtown Des Moines. Molly’s art is collected by Hubbell Realty, Des Moines Metro Opera, Surety Hotel, St. Kilda, and by numerous other public and private clients throughout the U.S.
